Sony has introduced a brand new set of colors for its PlayStation 5 console. Called the Deep Earth Collection, this new set allegedly draw inspiration from the “beautiful and powerful hues found in the depths of planet Earth”.
There are three colors which might be half of this assortment: Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sterling Silver.
The Volcanic Red is a richer, brighter shade of pink than the beforehand introduced Cosmic Red set, which had a magenta hue to it. The new coloration additionally has a metallic end to it, giving it a glossier sheen.
The Cobalt Blue can be a deeper shade of blue than what we noticed with the beforehand introduced Starlight Blue, and has hints of purple in it. Like the pink, Cobalt Blue has a metallic end to it.
And lastly, the Sterling Silver is only a simple shiny silver with the identical metallic end as the different two shades.
Like with the earlier set of coloration choices, the Deep Earth Collection will solely be obtainable as optionally available covers and controllers for current house owners, which implies you can not buy a brand new PS5 console in these colors.
The optionally available covers are priced at $60 every and the DualSense controllers are priced at $75. Pre-orders start October 4, with the Volcanic Red and Cobalt Blue obtainable beginning November 3, 2023 and the Sterling Silver obtainable on January 26, 2024.
